- Transcription of French videos
- Subtitle spotting
- 30 to 32 characters per line (including spaces and punctuation)
- 2 lines per subtitle
- Compliance with the pyramid structure of subtitles
- Dash at each speaker change
- Occasionally subject to TV subtitling restrictions: censorship, minimum 1-second subtitle display, 100 ms gap between subtitles, etc.
